Abubakar Tafewa Balewa University

The Programme has three undergraduate teaching laboratories as well as one research room all with a net floor area of approximately 50,000 sq. meters. In addition, the Programme has two preparatory rooms, two large instrument rooms, adequate storage facilities as well as equipped and modern glass blowing workshop, with functional annealing oven which can be temperature programmed from 0oC to 800oC, a lathe machine, tyeslide cutter, drilling and polishing machines. The Programme has easy access to the University Computer, which is located next to School of Science and Science Education staff office and classrooms. The Programme regularly reviews and recommends to the University library, books, reference works and current periodicals and journals. There are at present over 1500 volumes of Standard Chemistry Reference works and eight current chemical periodicals in the University Library.
